We’re always looking for fun, curious, dedicated volunteers to make the Salt Lake City Mini Maker Faire GREAT!
If you have any special maker skills such as engineering, electronics, building, sewing, art, programming, design, or general craftiness, let us know.
If you want to help pre-event, please indicate this on the form. For the day of the Salt Lake City Mini Maker Faire, we request that you will be available for at least one 2.5 to 3-hour block. We’re happy to work with you on your volunteer schedule for time to experience SLC Mini Maker Faire on your own.
Here are positions where we could use volunteers with specific skills:
Learn to Solder (for those who can show people how to solder)
Maker Support/Floater (taking care of any special needs)
Cardboard Challenge Host (great for families or teams!)
Creative Upcycling (support for the sewing/upcycling/textile area and other upcycling activities)

Indicate your preference for volunteer position and shift below, and we will review it to try to accommodate your request. Please note that we may need to change your position depending on volunteer needs.
- If you plan to spend the day at the Faire and have a flexible schedule for a volunteer shift, please indicate this on the form.
- If you are available pre-festival, please note this as well.
- There’s a verification code at the bottom of the form, so don’t forget to include that before you click submit. If you have trouble submitting the form, please email volunteers @ slcmakerfaire.com with your availability for any of the shifts. Thanks!
