Wasatch Forge is Utah’s premiere teaching and open opportunity blacksmith shop. Classes are offered through the University of Utah Lifelong Learning program in addition to private lessons and open shop time where anyone who has taken the introductory courses can come use the shop and work on anything they dream up. Wasatch Forge also hosts immersive multi-day events, where teams compete to create the best armor. Wasatch Forge’s demo booth at the Maker Faire will consist of several experienced blacksmiths working at either a coal or propane forge demonstrating the craft of blacksmithing and answering public questions.
