The Ecotrike is a solar chargeable electric vehicle. This vehicle is registered, licensed and has a vin number. The trike goes 30 miles per hour and gets about 50 miles on a single charge. The vehicle takes about 5 hours to recharge in full sun; it can also be plugged in to recharge.
Andy Schoenberg PhD. has worked through fifteen iterations of this vehicle. The latest has a range of 50 miles on a single charge, it takes four hours to recharge in full sun, it can be plugged in, and it can travel at a rate of 30 miles per hour.
We are currently looking for a dozen people who are interested in building an electric car of their own while we wade through the production possibilities.
